I just read what you did for your roommates kitten and omg I must say I simply adore you. Your roommate is a fool to think that kitten is alright. There needs to be more people like you I swear. Not to mention many animals don't actually show signs of being hurt or sick (or try not to show them at least) because that could potentially mean being targeted for someone else's dinner in the animal world.

Oh, thank you! That’s very kind of you to say. I’ve always been a dog person myself, so I’m a bit more familiar with canine distress behaviour, but my best friend is Team Kitty and she informed me that purring is often a calming strategy shown by injured cats. That scared me the most, I think.
Not to mention the fact that he was basically throwing up goopy brown bile, which is never really a fantastic sign. I just.. needed to vent; people who neglect or abuse animals really are amongst the lowest of the low. Even if my housemate doesn’t talk to me ever again, I won’t ever apologize for taking care of a kitten.

But truth be told, I didn’t really do much. I owned up to it, but I didn’t pay for the veterinarian. That was all Zane. I just took the fall for it, so he wouldn’t get in trouble. All I did, really, was drive the kitty to the vet.

But thank you anyways, anon, I appreciate it!
